The purpose of the advanced training of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff of the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub is their professional development in accordance with the state policy in the field of education and quality assurance (paragraph 3 of the Procedure).

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 21 August 2019 №800 ‘Some issues of advanced training of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers’, the university has a cumulative system of advanced training. The amount of advanced training for pedagogical and scientific and pedagogical staff of the university within five years cannot be less than six ECTS credits (180 hours).

The Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub conducts licensed advanced training courses, namely:

1. Advanced training courses for teaching staff on methodological skills lasting 240 hours (8 ECTS credits);
2. In-service training courses for academic staff on educational activities lasting 120 hours (4 ECTS credits).
