SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE UNIVERSITY

  The Scientific and Methodological Department for Quality Assurance of Educational Activities and Higher Education of the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub is designed to ensure the growth of the quality of educational activities and higher education at the University, coordinate and monitor the activities of structural units in this area, promote academic integrity and form a culture of quality in the university community.

The Department’s activities are carried out in accordance with Regulations on the Scientific and Methodological Department for Quality Assurance of Higher Education at Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub.

The department is headed by Colonel Irina Khizhnyak, PhD in Engineering.

      MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT

  1. Implementation of principles and procedures for ensuring the quality of educational activities and higher education, taking into account the experience of domestic and foreign educational institutions.
  2. Organisation, coordination and support of accreditation and licensing of educational programmes, their monitoring and periodic review.
  3. Internal post-accreditation monitoring of educational programmes.
  4. Systematic monitoring of the quality of educational services provided by the University to meet the requirements and needs of customers and participants in the educational process.
  5. Coordination of procedures and activities for the participation of various stakeholder groups to improve the quality of educational activities at the university.
  6. Ensuring compliance with academic integrity and ethics of academic relations by all participants in the educational process, including the creation and maintenance of an effective system for the prevention and detection of academic plagiarism.
  7. Searching for new scientific and technical solutions to ensure the growth of the quality of educational activities and higher education at the university, implementation of the results obtained in the educational process.
