“Digital Technologies for Advancing Awareness and Knowledge of Human Rights in Ukrainian Military Personnel”

Main Goal and Work Stages
- Creation of a training course;
- Conducting training for trainers;
- Development of a digital human rights course;

Key Results:
The educational program for the course, which takes into account modern challenges in the field of human rights, was developed and approved. The course was integrated into the curriculum, and instruction began in October 2024.
A video course was recorded that was aimed at deepening human rights knowledge.
Materials were developed that can be used for informing the audience about the importance of human rights, which is one of the project goals.
Training was organized for faculty staff who will be spreading the acquired knowledge to others.
A conference on human rights during a crisis was held on September 11-13, 2024, in Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), which was organized with the support of PACT4Ukraine (Germany), FAU4UKRAINE (Germany), and in cooperation with Friedrich-Alexander University (Germany), with the participation of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy (Germany).
On December 10, 2024, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, an online meeting was held with cadets and students of the university. The audience also was represented by leading scholars, human rights defenders, faculty, and public figures whose scientific and pedagogical interests lie in the domain of human rights protection.
