The Department of “ Department of Electrical Systems of Weapons and Military Equipment Complexes” is a specialized department for training military specialists in the field of military energy systems for providing  power supply of military units and subdivisions at points of permanent deployment and in field conditions.

The department has extensive experience in training military power specialists, has an appropriate material and technical base. The department’s educational process integrates cutting-edge information technologies for the modeling and design of military power supply systems and electrotechnical equipment.The department employs highly qualified scientific and pedagogical workers: 5 candidates of technical sciences, 4 associate professors, who transfer their experience and knowledge to higher education applicants. In recent years, the department has defended 1 dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences and 1 dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

  Cadets are trained in the field of “Engineering, Production and Construction” in the specialty G3 “Electrical Engineering”, specialization “Electrical Systems for Military Purposes”.

Scientific directions of the department:

− scientific support for the development, construction and improvement of power supply systems for facilities of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

− development of regulatory documents on the organization of the operation of electrical equipment of weapons complexes and military equipment and electrical safety;

− conducting scientific research on the issues of testing, application, operation and modernization of electrical equipment of general military and special purpose, their classification and standardization;

− conducting research in the field of increasing the capabilities of electrical units of anti-aircraft missile forces in power supply of anti-aircraft missile systems supplied by partner countries by improving the forms and methods of mastering samples of electrical equipment;

− conducting research in the field of ensuring the compatibility of domestic electrical equipment and weapons and military equipment complexes supplied by partner countries.
